Japanese Tours

Mt Taranaki Guided Tours have been organising and guiding Tours from Japan to New Zealand since 1990. We'll guide your tour to Taranaki, including hiking tours to the Egmont National Park and guided tours on Mt Egmont / Mt Taranaki (San).

These tours include:

Trekking (hiking) in Egmont National Park:

1 day hiking tours in Egmont National Park

2 or 3 day hiking tours of the Pouakai Circuit

4 or 5 day hiking tours to circum-navigate Mount taranaki San. All year round.

1 day guided tour of Mt Taranaki:

Your guided tour of Mount taranaki will take 6 hours to climb to the top and 4 hours to return. Similar to Fuji San. (Less height but as I have been told a little harder)
Due to the unpredictable weather on our local mountain we suggest allowing 2 or 3 days to gain success. It only takes 1 day to climb the mountain if the weather is favourable but if we need to wait for the weather, 1 or 2 days hiking in the National Park is a fantastic experience.
These tours to the top of Mount Taranaki are only suitable in our summer, December to End of April.
